We got sent a question asking us: What would be better? A pro DSLR with a cheapo lens or a cheapo DSLR with an expensive lens? Well, we thought we'd answer that question in this video by asking two very different photographers to show us what they're like. We tested the Canon 1D Mark IV with a Sigma 28-300mm something and a Canon 550D with a 24-70mm f/2.8L. What produces better results? Watch the video to find out.

Quotes for Rocky Balboa:
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!
Pearl Harbor [1941] - Photos that made history

To see more photos of the attack on Pearl Harbor (33 more photos to be exact) went to this story: Pearl Harbor, 69 years ago today
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a naval air operation which took place December 7, 1941, when Japanese naval and air forces attacked the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack, carried without a prior declaration of war by Japan, which was formalized only when the attack started, caused U.S. intervention in World War II.
The attack was conceived and led by Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto (who at the time of the attack was in Hiroshima Bay aboard the battleship Nagato), [7] that he hoped to destroy the American fleet in the Pacific. In fact the operation was a success because in just over an hour 360 flights, left from the Japanese carriers, sank four of the eight U.S. battleships, while the others were made aground or were severely damaged; only the aircraft was safe, being rescued at sea far from their base. This victory allowed the Japanese to obtain control of the Pacific at the moment and paved the way for successive triumphs Nipponese before the USA were able to arm a fleet that can stand up to the Japanese.

Canon EOS 600D Technical Specifications
Rebel 600D
The obvious next Rebel is starting to pick up steam. Will we see it for CP+ in February? I’ve been told countless times by good people there will be NO SLRs introduced for CES on January 6.
The following are listed as the changes to the 550D. It looks like a very incremental upgrade.
600D
- Articulating screen like the 60D
- 18mp
- 9 Point AF
- Increased shutter range in Auto ISO Mode
- Video Snapshot Mode
- ISO 100-12800
- DIGIC IV
- New software features for still and video
I can definitely see the 600D being a minor advancement.
